Studio Pilates

The MetaPilates studio, mats laid out in daylight
A Studio Pilates exercise on the mat

Studio Pilates

We teach one class — Studio Pilates — which is exactly why we teach it well.

It is the classical Pilates mat repertoire in a small group: spinal mobility, deep core strength, controlled movement, and breath that leads the movement rather than following it.

A class runs fifty-five minutes. We work on the floor, on a mat, with your own body weight and small props — a ring, a ball, a resistance band. No apparatus is needed: for a movement done precisely, the body is resistance enough.

Who it is for

All levels. The group is small, so the instructor can see everyone and adapt each exercise to the person doing it — a beginner feels safe in their first class, and an experienced mover gets progressions that keep the work honest.

What to bring

Clothes you can move in and a pair of grippy socks. Mats and every prop are here.
