MetaPilates is a small, light-filled studio in the heart of Tbilisi teaching classical Studio Pilates in small groups.
We opened MetaPilates with one conviction: real, lasting change happens when an instructor can actually see you. So we kept our classes small, kept the room clear and uncluttered, and designed a space that feels more like a sanctuary than a gym. Every session is guided, precise and unhurried. Whether you are recovering from an injury, preparing for birth, or simply want to move better, you are met exactly where you are.

Small groups
We keep the group small. With one instructor watching the room, your form is seen, your questions are answered, and real progress follows.
A mat, a ring, a ball and a resistance band — a room with nothing in the way lets us meet every body where it is, from a first class to advanced practice.

Our story
MetaPilates began with a simple observation: Tbilisi has plenty of places to exercise and few places to learn. We wanted a studio where the instructor knows your name, where the group is small enough that someone is actually watching how you move, and where one thing is done properly — Studio Pilates. There are two studios today: Vake, on Chavchavadze Avenue, and Saburtalo, on Vazha-Pshavela Avenue.
Our philosophy
We teach classical Pilates — the method as Joseph Pilates built it — informed by what is now understood about how bodies move. That means three things in practice. Quality over quantity: ten considered repetitions beat fifty rushed ones. Every body is different, so the exercise adapts to the person rather than the other way round; the range, the tempo and the prop change in seconds. And progress is measured by how you feel on the other six days of the week, not by how tired you were in class.
